Would anyone in or near the San Diego area be interested in a Meet & Greet on Aug 4th, when Kat will be here? I was thinking maybe something kinda casual like a beach bonfire? Please post any interest or suggestions!  |

I would go if you are for sure on the date.I asked the other day when she would be in Cali and she said Aug 9-15.There are other Cali peeps around besides me that would go if they knew you were trying to set up something.I will check back on this post if you have a positive date set up,and I will hit up some people that I know are not on here,but would love to go as well.

We might be able to throw something together at Ocean Beach in Oceanside, CA just north of San Diego proper. A beach bonfire might not yield a lot of cash but we could sure talk about it. Might be able to put together a bbq with simple foods and get 30-50 people there maybe more. Could ask for donations? I work with the North County LGBT Coalition. I would think we could get a group in a week's time. Anyone interested in helping or is this even something Kat would be interested in? What time on August 4? 6-9pm maybe?
