Didn't know where else to post

I didn't know where else to post. I am feeling profoundly sad. This has been by far the worst year of my life. I lost my job in January. I haven't been able to find another one. I had surgery earlier this month. My wife told me three days ago that she wants a divorce. I live in Canada. I'm originally from the U.S. All of my family lives in the U.S. I want to go home, but then I don't. My family is very religious and I'm a lesbian. I don't fit into their mold. My whole world is spiraling out of control, and I can't stop it. I'm generally a happy optimistic person, but everything is getting to me now. I don't know what to do.

you WILL get through this. a flower that is planted in the shade will always try to move out of the shade and into the sun, to thrive. you can get through this i know you can. you have to BELIEVE. <3 <3 stay strong.
