I think that sometimes people just all want the same thing. FRIENDSHIP. You can start through internet connection, but eventually hope meeting in person. I admit, where I live I have no friends. My girlfriend is gone all the time. She is an over the road truck driver. It's hard. I do not get a long with my family...which is recent. I always was a go with the flow kind of gal. I turned 40, had a lot of medical issues and thought finally time to stand up for me. Not let people take advantage of me. My kids are my life. The reason I wake up every day. I just don't understand why as adults it's so hard to make friends? If you find someone who is straight and they find out your a lesbian, it's either 3some with their boyfriend or you want them. Why is it so hard to believe that not every lesbian wants a straight girl. All I want is friends. No sexual encounters, just shopping, playing pool, getting mani's & pedi's. Maybe walking together, trying to restaurants. Is that to much to ask? I know all this started from Kat feeling so alone with so many fb friends and no human interaction. Not all of us have the advantage of doing what Kat did. So I turn to you all...I've looked on Craigslist. Even met a few people but they didn't turn to be too "sane". Not that we all don't have a little insanity with us. I guess I'm looking to see if anyone else has had a similar problem? Move to new state, new town, new jobs, 1000's a
of miles away from old friends. Did you find it easy to make new friends?
