Someone said they were in a physical abusive relationship with a woman/ I can't imagine that happening I thought just between men and women but two women do this too?

Yes darling it can happen. I was abused by one of my ex girls... it was a very scary process, and not a easy one to get out of.

It happens just as frequently in homosexual relationships as it does in heterosexual relationships, statistically. Lesbians and gay men are just far less likely to report the incidences of abuse due to shame and feelings that because they were with someone of the same gender means it couldn't have happened to them. The LGBTQ community really needs to do some work in bringing awareness to this issue and letting people know that there is help and support. Sexual assault among this population is high as well within intimate partner relationships, people are just hesitant to define it as such.

I have two friends, who are a couple, and when they fight it's awe-full! They start getting louder and louder. Then stuff starts flying and finally punches are thrown. I just leave! Afterwards, I try to talk to each of them separately and they act like NOTHING is wrong. Or I get the "well she didn't really mean to"! Sad really! I won't hang out with them anymore. They invite me and I always tell them I have plans!
