I am that naive

I still believe that people are good, no matter what. I have been taken advantage of by so many different people, been hurt when I find out that they just used me for my money, what I could do for them, they never really cared about me only used me. Because of this trusting nature, I have been abused sexually, physically and mentally by so many people. You would think I would be jaded or cynical, but I still believe people and trust them. Maybe I am a masochist and enjoy being hurt.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. We should be able to trust people. I know I like to. I try to see the good in everyone. Sometimes it's backfired on me...but we have to pick ourselves up and go on. That's all we really can do. I'm here as well as I'm sure everyone else is if you ever need to vent.
