Anybody else deal with this? I had it pretty bad in high school and college but in recent years it's gotten better. When I get too overwhelmed and feel too out of control though, I still find myself not eating for extended periods of time. Fortunately now my body can't really function at all if I go too long without eating so it isn't AS bad but it's always a thought in my head.

I have been diagnosed with eating disorder not otherwise specified. I was at my worse back in 1997-1998. I have been struggling again with it recently cuz I started exercising at the gym a few months ago so I am losing weight and for me, it is all about trying to "beat" the numbers. If I burn 300 cals one day, the next day I "have" to burn 400 cals and the next day it's 500 cals etc. If I lose 2lbs one week, the next week I have to lose at least 4lbs etc. I started taking diet pills a few weeks ago cuz I feel like I am not losing it fast enough now and I basically am only eating if I am with my girlfriend.
